Legend Films Betty Boop Uncensored Vol. 1

2. Crazy Inventions
3. Is my Palm Read
4. In Blunderland
5. Rise to Fame
6. Poor Cinderella (color)
7. Baby be Good
8. Taking the Blame
9. Stop That Noise
10. Swat the Fly
11. No! No! A Thousand Times No!
12. A Little Soap & Water
13. A Language All My Own
14. Betty Boop & Grampy
15. Judge for a Day
16. Making Stars
17. Henry the Funniest Living American
18. Little Nobody
19. The Little King
20. Not Now
21. Little Jimmy
22. We Did It
Extras include two bonus Fleischer shorts:
1. My Merry Oldsmobile
2. Finding his Voice
None of the opening titles or the cartoons...
Betty Boop Volume 1 by Legend Films is a very good quality product

I have a widescreen television (16x9) and the picture fills the screen on all 21 B&W Betty Boop cartoons after the opening titles, while "Poor Cinderella" and both of the extra cartoons fill the screen from start to finish. How can that be if the top and/or bottom of the cartoons are not cropped? Upon close examination of many of the cartoons, it's apparent the picture is zoomed in, because some characters on the sides of the screen are partially obscured with no good reason. The lyrics on the left side of the screen are partially cut off in the short, "In My Merry Oldsmobile".
From what I perceived, only six of the Betty Boop cartoons have the original Paramount opening titles. The abrupt endings for most of the...
More Legend Films GARBAGE!!
Stay away from this release. It's nothing more more than the Republic Films Laser disc release from the the 1990's. A total Bootleg copy. Evan worse the end titles are edited out. And a heavy handed DVNR is used and the cartoons look awful. STAY AWAY! Until an official release is issued. Big Disappointment!
